Is Databook charging for Strategy Builder App?

  • Not at this time. We feel strongly the automation, acceleration, and guidance Strategy Builder provides will make Databook’s most popular insights more accessible to busy sales reps, and increase value. All subscribers to Databook Insights Builder Platform get access to Strategy Builder.

How will Strategy Builder evolve over time?

  • Databook seeks to continue adding as much intelligence behind the scenes as possible to make sales reps’ user experience faster, more simple, and more powerful.

What goes into a “Strategy” in the Strategy Builder app?

  • Strategies are customized bundles of a target prospect’s identified C-level pain or priority, plus an aligned seller solution, plus a recommended relevant buyer. It’s a path to create value and win business.

  • Strategies are recommended to account reps, greatly speeding up account planning and narrative building.

  • Strategies can also be selected by sales reps digging through Strategy Builder’s streamlined view of use cases and priorities.

  • Strategies are persistent, updated automatically, and sharable.

  • Strategies are summarized in plain text, making them easier for everyone on the GTM team to understand and execute.

Does Strategy Builder replace Databook’s Insights Platform?

  • No. Strategy Builder provides another way for your entire sales team to get great value from Databook and succeed at strategic selling. Strategy Builder is streamlined and simple. Insights Platform offers more variety of ways to research customers and augments Strategy Builder.

What happens when metrics, key buyers, use cases, or strategic priorities in strategy are updated, refreshed, changed, etc?

  • Objects in Strategies will persist even when the objects are updated or refreshed.

  • New data will be suggested but not included in already-customized strategies.

  • Specifically, metrics are updated daily as new financial data is available.

  • Old strategic priorities and inactive key buyers will persist in motions and new ones are created separately.

  • Use cases can be both refreshed or created separately as appropriate.
