How to view Databook insights in Microsoft Outlook
Note: The configuration process is a one-time setup. Once completed, Databook insights will be readily available for future interactions, streamlining your sales workflow and boosting efficiency.
Accessing Databook insights through the Copilot for Sales integration in Outlook is a seamless process designed to help you gather actionable sales intelligence right within your email workflow. Follow these simple instructions to configure, view, and leverage Databook insights while working in Microsoft Outlook:
Open Outlook: Launch the Outlook application on your desktop or browser.
Navigate to an Email Thread: Select the email thread you want to configure for insights.
Expand the Apps Menu: Locate the Apps Menu in the email action bar and expand it.
Search for and Select Copilot for Sales: Search for Copilot for Sales and click on it to launch.
Wait for the Copilot for Sales Sidebar to Load: A sidebar will open and start loading information.
Save the Email to Dynamics 365: Click Save under the Save email to Dynamics 365 section.
Select the CRM Account Record: Choose a CRM account record to which the email should be saved.
Wait for Email Saving Process: Saving emails to Dynamics 365 takes a couple of seconds.
Verify Email Tag: Upon completion, the email should display a tag labeled "Tracked to Dynamics 365."
Close and re-open: Close and re-open the Copilot for Sales side menu to view Databook insights.
View citations (optional): Clicking on a specific insight reveals the source behind it.
